HOG Technologies continues to innovate in the road marking industry. After launching the revolutionary Thermo HOG longitudinal marking product, they have been working to expand their product range beyond thermoplastics.
Using the same innovative technology, they expanded the new Epoxy HOG into multiple components, but what makes Epoxy HOG different?
First, the Epoxy HOG provides precise temperature control using just one glycol pump, while competitors’ trucks typically have four to six glycol pumps. Additionally, it uses just one 12-volt torch instead of three or four. It also features a HOG speed control system that requires no modifications to the truck’s transmission.
Epoxy HOG has excellent high temperature resistance, does not require glycol jacketed lines, and has no nozzle restrictions in the return line. As a result, there is no risk of contamination of the glycol circuit, and the operator has a good view of the spray gun.
HOG epoxy resin comes in three colors: yellow, white and black. With the air gun, you can apply yellow (x2), white and black center lines, as well as white and black edge lines.
The fully automatic HOG air pumps are an extremely simple pumping system that does not require hydraulics. HOG linear pumps are easier to maintain. The maximum pressure is 3000 psi (inlet pressure 100 psi), which helps prevent line rupture. The HOG epoxy pump uses a digital duplex system with automatic pump shut-off when the pressure deviates.
The all aluminum HOG pump provides complete heat recirculation for all guns and utilizes an all stainless steel reservoir and heat exchanger with no internal moving parts.
All of these innovations are combined in an all-new truck designed to deliver on the Thermoplastic Truck vision: delivering superior application results with exceptional efficiency, changing the way epoxy trucks heat, pump and place materials. HOG Epoxy, like all HOG Technologies products, is manufactured and refined with three key goals in mind: maximizing productivity, minimizing costs and optimizing application results.
